This sunset shot witht the Massai Boma silouetted in the foreground was one of my "must collect" photos - and this is better than I had hoped for. (the lion in the tree was also one of my dream images to capture.)
Driving home from Tarangire Park after an evening game drive with John I managed to capture some wonderful sunset images. Most of these were shot from the window of our four wheel drive bouncing over gravel roads at about 35 to 50 kmph.
The 'fire dancers' were local young men who performed a gymnastics, native dance and fire eating act at the Wild Palms campsite where they also ran a small Curio Shop. They were self taught and had been doing this since childhood .... maybe they were also a bit crazy.
The portrait of John was posed: not taken while driving.
