Stonetown, Zanzibar

here are a few images from part of our week in Stonetown. I have many images from our snorkeling expedition,our spice tour, our day excursion to see the Red Columbos monkies and a wonderful beach - where we experienced our first rain storm since arriving in Africa. At a small restaurant we had a fine lunch but when we expected to sit in the hot sun on the white sand we had rain - and a wonderful walk out to the incoming tide. Great photo opportunities instead of sitting in the sun.

We have only one and a half days left here, then 27 hours flying home. It is lovely and warm here. We had a fine and lazy afternoon today. Tomorrow we are going on another drive to east coast and its beaches. This evening we had our finest meal since arriving. No photos to post yet, sorry have some video as well - great atmosphere.
